Senior year my classmates and I are required to engage in a senior independent research project called the "Keystone Project". We pick something that we love, are interested in, or have always wanted to try, and become experts on it through the school year
Since my sophomore year of high school I have, quite frankly, been dreading this project. With all the other work from senior year how would I be able to conduct an entire other project on my own. And furthermore what have I always wanted to do? What did I possibly love enough that I could spend a whole year researching, studying, and lastly, presenting about it for nearly 45 minutes in front of my whole class, and my parents for that matter
There I was in the middle of summer dreading this project when I was supposed to be stewing in a marinated pot of genius ideas
Fast forward, it's August two weeks before school begins. And of course, just like all other good things do, the idea for my Keystone project came to me at the most unexpected time from a woman named Linda Morello
